I was excited to get to connect with my friends, David and Kay. It had been years since I had seen them and now they were dipping their toes, no, jumping in to the road-tripping adventure!
After they had just picked up their new “Mean Bean” trailer, I suggested we meet up in Kodachrome State Park. Most of the route would be areas I had seen in part last season, but now it could be shared with friends. David who is also a photographer among other creative pursuits, shared time photographing side trips we would take. Kay, would take on learning route finding and more for future outings and quickly picked up on the possibilities and routine of Boondocking. Not to mention cooking up some memorable meals!
