Scott Owen: Jeweler, Writer Artist and Musician.
I met Scott while visiting the Degrazia Gallery where I have done several photoshoots in the past. The old architecture is a great place to find reflected light and shadows. Scott was the current artist in residence there and after a brief conversation he was generous to offer his time for a photoshoot later in the week.
Scott Owen is a self taught Silversmith from Tucson Arizona. Scott is currently residing in Asheville, NC. From the photos, you’ll notice Scott’s guitar, adding music to his repertoire. You can find his work available here: Scott Owen Jewelry
He has been writing political commentary and social philosophy as well as working on a book based on his life adventures and the many characters he’s met along the way. Scott also does photography for personal pleasure and Has a love for gardening.

His inspiration comes from cultures across history and the globe, brought together to create meaningful pieces for today's jewelry enthusiast. He hand-makes each piece, cutting unique stones such as petrified dinosaur bone, rutilated quartz, turquoise, and just about anything else.
