After my stay near Mount Rainier, I decided to get back up to the North Cascades. Logistics were challenging with fire closures, rain and limited dispersed camping.
However, I did find a bang-for-the buck hike nearby. And after a day and a half waiting for the weather to clear, I drove the last part of the road before sunrise and was glad I had waited for clearer weather!
