2 Weeks in Big Bend
The trip so far has been full of surprises… from an unannounced “Border Patrol-style” unexpected visit up a rough 2.5 mile dirt road by Mary Willenbrock and her brother Dan (great company BTW), losing my headlamp light about 30 minutes before daybreak to finding a guide in Mexico (Raúl) to show me around his town of Boquillas, Mexico.
Before delaying my blog post further here is a Big Bend Sampler. After all it’s supposed to be a photo blog…
Currently editing for my next photo blog and doing laundry. Carlsbad, New Mexico,
Floating on the Rio Grande. Mexico left, USA right
Santa Elena Canyon, first(ish) light
Getting up early almost everyday for 2 weeks to get some good light is exhausting.
From the summit of Mt. Emory, Big Bend National Park
View to the East from a primitive campsite
Clouds over the Chiso Mountains

Dorgan Trail back towards Santa Elena Canyon
