Hard to believe how much time has passed since I rolled into Tucson! A brief but much needed visit with fam in Texas in April. Now back out on the road heading for cooler temps and getting out into the backcountry.
First stop, Chandler Library, AZ to download Gaia maps that look like they are not fully available on my iPhone. Looks to be a slow process! Obviously pretty key for safe travels.
Tonight Boondocking at Cracker Barrel (going to miss the sound of coyotes and owls at night). Tomorrow an awning recall fix in Prescott Valley, AZ, then hopefully up to Sedona if I can find an available place to camp.
Just want to give a huge shoutout to JJ for providing an amazing place to park for the winter at her place in Tucson! Amazing hiking, backpacking and meeting new friends.
