The Sierras are on my fave list. If you use Tioga Pass as an access point, you have lots of options. I wanted to do this ever since I did the cables on Half Dome. I took some effort and the ridge was a bit interesting, but nothing too edgy. The views? Wow. Eventually the crowds caught up to me, but not before have the summit mostly to myself for about an hour. Starting out by headlamp worked like magic as always making an early start well worth it!
